Style Swapping: SouthEast meets West – If you haven’t been keeping up with my escapades, I temporarily swapped LA luxury for Miami mayhem. I was field producing & directing a fun docuseries with a colorful cast of characters and just landed back in LA. Home Sweet… Car! I was working a lot and couldn’t get out as much as I’d hoped in Miami, but I also learned to take it much easier on weekends (i.e. what list?). Now that I’m back, I have a few things in the can from both LA & Miami that I’ll be posting over the next week as I get my blogging legs again – including a couple fun videos I was lucky to get, heh heh. (Um, you heard Jersey Shore was shooting in Miami, right? Also, if you don’t know DJ Epps, you’ll remember him after the video I’ll be calling, er, ‘Heels on Wheels’).

"Are we there, yet?" -- "Do you copy?" -- "It's a wrap!"

Quiet on the Set! - This is the part where I’m supposed to impress you with enviable stories of Miami & Me — and I’ll let you in on a trade secret. There are definitely idyllic moments, but it’s hardly all glamour! For starters, I ate a tiny bug that flew into my mouth during a crazy outdoor shoot (ok, 2 bugs). I also managed to get my butt wedged into the backseat floorboard of a luxury vehicle while trying to duck a camera shot. Then I spit toothpaste onto my shirt/chest outside (hard to explain) while a hot male model type happened to be watching through a window. Producing scenes is definitely an exercise in humility, but also a blast for which I’m grateful. I already miss my new Miami friends, but so excited to see my LA friends again. Caaaall meeee…

Red Crew Rules! Remember, what happens in Miami... ends up on my blog. Miss you guys.
