Tea Time – If you know me, you’re well aware that I’m an Intelligentsia Coffee groupie. (It’s.just.that.good). I’m psyched that the new Pasadena store opens today, primarily because they’ll have *food* (and eventually beer). I hear the idea is to create a different experience in each store and I look forward to leaving my comfort zone to check it out.
Here, I’m at the Venice store (i.e. comfort zone) trying to read when I get a bit hypnotized by Rebecca’s necklace (a gift from her sister a couple years ago). Then my fixation migrates to watching their cold brew tea process (Organic Osthmanthus Dragon Pearls tea, she says). {Click the pics for alternate images and supersizes}
Her necklace has a tiny bird on it. *Click the pic for a closer look.*
Seeing the tea this close is pretty tempting, so it’s on my list for next time. Thanks for the photo op, Rebecca – and hello to my friends there, especially Nicely, the king of coffee art with a Flickr set to prove it.

How exciting! Thanks for the fame Jerri–I’m sure we’ll be seeing you soon!

I’m pretty sure that the necklace is a Saylor Rose necklace! http://www.etsy.com/shop/saylorrose

I thought the same thing, Lisa!
She is super cute!
That she is – and many others there. I think it’s a conspiracy…
My Intelligentsia has staffed what seem to be ex-Bigfoot Lodge barkeeps.
Hey, they’re my next victims…
