Evan's DIY spotted in Venice, CA
Designing Duo – I spotted Evan and his wife Monica during First Friday’s food event on Abbot Kinney in Venice a couple weeks ago, and did a double take over his DIY and just had to circle back for the scoop. It turns out Monica is an interior designer and blogger at ourdesignedlife.com, with an eye for inspiring design ideas, tips, unique finds and lifestyle products. She knew Evan would wear out a simple patch up, so her solution was using thicker upholstery fabric. I especially appreciated that she zigged when others would’ve zagged and I must not be alone, because they’ve been stopped on the street many times.
