Never Lame, Never Plain - I had so much fun spotting Helena and her friend Carolina a few weeks ago. Her hair might’ve gotten my attention, but it was her spirit that reeled me in. We had some laughs and I’ll let her explain her style in her own words. She was visiting from Finland and perhaps you may have heard of her company?
Helena’s Style Story - I am a swimwear designer at H&M. My hair has a dip dye effect: my natural hair color at top, bleached blond in middle and endings in washed out pink. I have seen that in magazines and just decided spontaneously to color it one Saturday and I love it!
My rings are a great mix of genuine native American najavo rings, H&M rings and a ring + bracelet from ebay. I feel totally naked without my rings.
My style, ouff that is difficult to describe. I never follow a certain style or fashion, I just simply wear what I feel like for the moment, usually mixing new stuff with vintage, glamour with casual, as in opposites attract and always heels. I like to go for “never lame, never plain.”

what a great surprise to see Helena on your blog, met her in Jamaica a year ago, and she is definitely a trailblazer of style, its effortless for her to put together bling and casual. love all the accessories
