Christen is a stylist who blogs on the side, so she calls being the focus super uncomfortable. She also said, “I dress for myself and it’s lovely when other people enjoy it, just don’t expect a non-awkward pose out of me.” I also asked about the paradigm shift of focusing on fashion outside the shows and her perspective is below.

What I think is great about everyone being outside capturing the street style is that you get to see those fantastic runway trends in real life. It connects the art of fashion with the practicality of our daily lives. Plus, this kind of event challenges people to be creative and show what you’ve got, and to capture fashionable and fabulous people all in one place is so inspiring.
