Thrifty - I met Leah in Venice, CA and liked her unfussy, half-thrifted look. She’s wearing a Ralph Lauren coat, Target shirt, thrifted J. Crew pants, thrifted bag, Sam Edelman shoes and her father’s Tag Heuer watch. Her lipstick is Wet ‘n’ Wild Pink Nouveau 511b. She and her partner in crime (you’ll meet her soon) run the LA based style blog Fabulous on a Budget, so I tapped her brain for some cheap finds she listed below, after the jump.
Here are my top 5 places to shop that are super Fabulous On A Budget:
1) Ross is amazing for bras, panties and lingerie
2) TJ MAXX is my favorite for shoes and sweaters
3) Buffalo Exchange, Wasteland and Crossroads are great because you can make some extra cash before you shop!
4) I always hit up J. Crew, Banana Republic and Gap’s sale sections. They are the best for budget basics.
5) Of course the thrift store! You never know what you are going to find. I love looking for anything vintage and costume jewelry. But make sure that you don’t buy things that are stained or need to be repaired. Remember, just because it’s a dollar doesn’t mean its free!
