Salt of the Earth – Earthtones, for a change, got my attention over the weekend in Soho and Nolita. The woman above didn’t realize people were stopping on the sidewalk to eyeball her Proenza Schouler bag. She’s carrying the Medium Canvas Printed Python. I love a simple Cambridge Backpack (the brand previously spotted on Ford model Emily Carter here.) This style would make lugging around my lenses and accoutrement so much easier.
This tourist was toting a python clutch from Cos London. I once released some limited edition clutches similar to these and will be breaking out some samples for Fall 2012 for friends. There, I said it.
Something about Tally’s framed YSL bag seems to work for all seasons, as well as dressed up or down. You might already know I’m nuts for their Belle de Jour clutch.
Who wouldn’t love an Hermès classic? Give me an H any day. Enough wishing for me. I’m hitting the streets to see what else I can find. Any special requests?
