Brooklyn Flea: Luci’s Antlers

Locking Horns - I spotted model Luci Taffs close to closing time at Williamsburg’s Brooklyn Flea, hauling a vintage chair and some antlers. I asked what she was going to do with antlers and she shrugged, “Probably paint them.” I wondered how that’d look, so I poked around and found some fun DIY options, listed below.

Such a great post! I love how you cater to my curiosity – because I was wondering what you’d do w/ painted antlers too!

Love the coat rack, but I’m going to have to go with the Milwaukee-based DIY – b/c that’s my hometown :)

Thanks so much, Gabrielle! I was wondering the same thing and just had to know. Now I’m going to try making the coat rack.

Have an inspired weekend,
Jerri

Your post reminded me of something I saw in a documentary this past Christmas:

Funny, Vy! See, there are so many uses for, er, recycled horns. Who knew?
