Think Pink – I spotted Rachel (Rachel Jane, according to her foot tattoo) in the West Village, both of us peeking through Zero Maria Cornejo’s window after hours. I loved her great combo of nonchalant shirt, figure flattering denim and sharp sandals, topped with that subtle, yet serious CÉLINE bag. It’s the fluo trio in hibiscus pink and you can click here to supersize. Her jeans are Paige Denim, with a shirt she got at ‘that cheap Ukrainian shop in the East Village,’ sunglasses from SEE and ‘cheapie shoes.’

I’m kind of dying for the fun shirt and love that it’s long (well, she added the long tank) and tuckworthy. I also have a fetish for the thumb tuck trend that I can’t seem to get quite right like all the cool girls. Someday soon.

Thanks for the fun shots Rachel, and if you remember the name of that East Village store, please let us know!

hahha, I’m obsessed with your commentary in this post. “Tuckworthy” is definitely a word I will be recycling – such a great descriptive adjective.
So funny you mention this – because I just had a convo w/ my fashion-conscious guy friend about perfecting the “front tuck”. He said it’s essential in guy’s fashion, but SO hard to master. I’ve been practicing of late, and it’s true, the simpler it looks, the more difficult it is to create.
I still think you’ve got the greatest street style blog out there. Nobody’s compares to yours – the little stories are priceless.

Please to get me the same top if you get one too!
I’d love to! I’m not sure I’ll get a day off until August, though. :\
Gabrielle, hi!
It’s so nice to see you pop up and thanks for such a great note! So funny that the tuck was a topic of conversation. I am truly obsessed with it and definitely think it’s an art. Not everyone can do it right. Lately, I’m loving it a little off to the side, for both genders.
Your comment really made my day and glad you like the little stories, too. Hope all is well with you…

No worries. It is hot here through October and into November. I’ll practice my tuck and get a cute pair of cropped jeans till then. Don’t work too hard!
I found out the store name.
Stay tuned (and will definitely be working much too hard…)
