Shoegazing: Tapestry Boots

Shoe Shock – My eyes literally glazed over when I spotted Christie and her Opening Ceremony x Rodarte (sold out) tapestry boots, seemingly taunting me from a Nolita sidewalk. She’s also wearing a VPL skirt, Alexander Wang’s Rocco Duffle Bag and sunglasses from Buffalo Exchange. When in doubt, you just can’t go wrong with a pair of OC statement shoes. Curious to know more about Christie? I was – and talked her into sharing her NYC hit list below…

Christie’s NYC Hit List for Fashion + Food

I live in Brooklyn, but spend most of my walking hours in Soho for both work and play. So it seems only natural that most of my favorite things are around and about here. For shopping, Creatures of Comfort, Henrik Vibskov, kiosk, JF & Son and VPL are at the top of my list. Since summer hit, all I want to wear are dresses – and Creatures has an extraordinary selection.

As for restaurants… Diner in Williamsburg is the best for brunch, and for dinner, Lovely Day and Fonda Nolita never disappoint. I’m also a big time pastry enthusiast! Favorites include: Babycakes, Bakeri and Birdbath. Who can so no to a maple bacon scone?

I think I’ve had like 3 dreams about these shoes since I saw this post a while ago. I cannot get over how much I love them.

Actually saw a more carpet-like pair here in Paris, but these are still cooler. Seriously one of a kind. Killer capture.

Hi Gabrielle!

Aren’t they divine? Definitely dream inducing and wish they weren’t sold out. I love looking at shots of your travels and thanks for the note!
