Cuff Her – I think these leighelena snake embossed, buckled cuffs are hot for spring, and much more affordable than you know whose. I spotted these at Fred Segal Santa Monica during DailyCandy Deals LA Launch Party (posted here).
I had to run, but shot this so I’d remember the brand name. Love this color.
More, more, more… They say the difficulty in life is choice. Choose from thin, wide and double-wrapped bracelets.
(Venice, CA) Curb Appeal — She was so cute as she waited on her friend to show up for lunch yesterday, but opted out of being on camera per a hangover. I loved her blunt bangs, yellow plastic sunglasses, trouser jeans, the long tee hanging from under her cashmere sweater, and of course my heart thumped when I spotted her bag. Ack! It’s a Jerome Dreyfuss Twee Mini she picked up from Heist just down the street (and I was just fawning over their selection of these bags last week)! It looks like they retail for around $600 for solid colors, but the snake style probably set her back $875, unless she has friends in high places.
Be jeweled! – She also has amazing taste in jewelry $$$, so I was kind of shocked that she snagged her necklace at Madewell for $20 bucks! I forgot her green ring designer, but the intricate diamond ring is by LFrank, also just down the street.
Stylish Snake – As far as value, she shared a great thought about being old one day and still having these [quality] pieces. Thanks for the fun snaps! I was curious to learn more about Jerome Dreyfuss and I had no idea he’s married to Isabel Marant, one of my favorite colorful designers I’ve mentioned here. To see Jerome in action, I thought I’d share a fun behind-the-scenes video from his photo shoot for Spring/Summer 2011. Adorable.

Tangerine & Talon – I spotted Amelia on Sunset Blvd as she suddenly popped out the front door of her Sunset Plaza shop, into the sun. I gasped for three very obvious reasons: (1) stunning (2) her amazing tangerine linen pants and (3) the gigantic talon suspended from her neck. I was so distracted that I forgot to ask Amelia for her outfit details and will reach out for the skinny. Until then, I want those pants and that cozy sweater. See more of Amelia and her boyish oxfords after the jump.
Jewelry Designer Kathryn Bentley featured at April’s Lucky Shops LA event
Designing Women – Jewelry Designer Kathryn Bentley and leather goods designer Clare Vivieropened their Silverlake Shop today. VIVIER AND BENTLEY will house the duo’s colorful collections, including Kathryn’s DREAM COLLECTIVE costume pieces (featured in this post) as well as her fine jewelry. I have a thing for jewelry and Kathryn’s textured, brass infused collection stopped me in my tracks during this Lucky Shops LA event. She has a rare instinct for textured pieces, which she attributes to both an early appreciation for architecture and being inspired by nature. When I met her, she was excited about her store opening just a few weeks later and I’m even more excited to check it out this week. Get a closer peek at the Dream Collective pieces after the jump and get ready to fall for her stacked bracelets.
(Sunset Tower Hotel) Stylish Friends – I spotted Samantha and Kasey at a 7 for all mankind event I wrote about for Mondette and spotted them cracking up by the pool as I was leaving. They were both so fun that I wanted to feature them separately, so catch more about Samantha’s style after the jump, plus her cool job at JewelMint, founded by stylist Cher Coulter + Kate Bosworth. CLICK for her JewelMint pieces, outfit and style story
Biting the Bullet – I met Taylor at this Lucky Shops LA event I wrote about for Mondette and originally fell for her haircut, before being drawn to her jewelry. She likes to scavenge for vintage pieces and it looks like she has it down to a science. More on her favorite places for vintage jewelry after the jump, but take a close look at her skull necklace, molded from bullet casings. Seriously, just click. Where does she shop?
Twice as Nice – I’ve always loved the gold layered look and think she’s got it down. I also dig her leopard ring and have a fun streetstyle find coming up later this week. Until then, I included a stash of some polyvore faves for getting cuffed, from vintage Chanel style to modern Max & Chloe to low-cost Juicy, all detailed after the jump.
(Venice, CA) Along Came a Spider – You might recognize the spider [above], via the more expensive version previously dangling on Melissa Leo as she won an Academy Award for The Fighter. This $12,500 ruby eyed, diamond creature with an opal back is currently hanging in Katherine Wallach’s recently opened Abbot Kinney Pop Up Shop along with a bevy of jeweled curiosities. The designer is also an actress and daughter of Eli Wallach who splits her time between New York, LA and her farm in Tuscany where she produces wine and olive oil. Her eclectic must-see collections range from $100 to $25,000+ and are made from materials gathered from her travels around the world.
Cabinets of Curiosities – Saucy. Saucy is the word I’d use to describe jewelry designer Katherine Wallach and her body of work. First, the name SHOPLIFT was inspired by Lindsey Lohan’s alleged crime. Secondly, when she was in a mad dash to put a temporary sign in the window, she thumbed through her iphone photos and stopped at the above image of her mouth (that, er, may or may not have been taken specifically for a flirty text). Thirdly, her collections include a bevy of erotic-themed jewelry. If you’re in LA, you must make an effort to swing by this shop, housed in the Stronghold Building and open through March 27. When Katherine ran into neophyte Venice resident Lindsey Lohan recently, the actress had a laugh that her dilemma had inspired the store’s name. With a little over two weeks left, I’m already hoping the store has an encore. SHOPLIFT at 1625 Abbot Kinney Blvd. Venice, CA 90291
