Fantogram – I spotted Kathleen Fanto, a NYC buyer, on a Williamsburg sidewalk and found her beguiling as she walked along laughing with friends. I discovered that she’s a stellar [yet modest] photographer, sampled here. (She has the eye of a director and my fave is this deserted car innuendo). I’d love to see her shoot video, but I digress. She shares more on her style below — and continued after the jump, with more on her photography. (I can completely relate to her pov about organic beauty and being able to find inspiration in a brick wall.) Otherwise, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on N. 6th Street with that random pine tree, don’t you think?

FASHION + WORK:
I am currently a fashion buyer for a women’s lifestyle store in Nolita specializing in obscure International product, some of which we introduce single-handedly into the US market. It’s a lot of fun and very inspiring.
As a buyer, I have such amazing new cutting edge designers at my fingertips but I am a total vintage lover. I dress for myself. I believe that style is all about confidence – it’s key. My personal style really just reflects Read More >>>

Pen Pal – You might remember model Laure-Anne Baillon from this Brooklyn post and I’m currently obsessed with [maybe] getting bold bangs and thought of this photo. She was adorable, even as she jotted her contact info. (I’m also obsessed with these haircuts and not sure what to do next, but want something drastic).
Picture This – I have a short window for some NYC bookings for the month of December. For personal portraits, editorials, model test shots or style video collaborations, you can contact me here.

Framed – I spotted Julen’s modern mullet in Soho and loved his subtle style. My sister thinks he resembles a young Ryan Gosling. Hmm, I can see it.
For those who have asked me to take personal portraits, I will finally have a little time to pull a few of these off in NYC before the new year. You can email me here, if interested.

I spotted model Romee Strijd after walking Prabal Gurung’s show in NYC and thought she was just breathtaking. I’ve also shot her in Nolita with her fellow model Laura Kampman here and didn’t even recall taking the above shot until I found it while cleaning up files. I love that I can funnel a lot of my extras onto instagram.
Ok, I’m back to posting more extras from fashion shows next week, but can’t wait for you to meet some stylish locals I’ve spotted, too.

Tank Magazine publisher Caroline Issa is one of my fashion faves, featured here from last February and the link to above lives on instagram. She’s wearing an Athena Procopiou scarf (similar to this) and you might recognize Anya Ziourova in the background from this technicolor coat slideshow.

Beach Blonde – I spotted model Jessica Hart and can finally publish it thanks to instagram’s forgiving filters. (But seriously, with a billion dollars, could they not beef up their choices?) My point is, I’m finally on iphone and instagram and am surprisingly not as addicted as I’d predicted (yet). The best thing is – I now have a home for a slew of images that just didn’t fit the blog, twitter or facebook. You can catch bonus shots, bloopers and, er, sometimes spy on me as I snap around town. You can catch more model moments all day via instagram.

You and what army? - I was shooting these models taking their final smokes before Marc by Marc Jacobs fashion show during NYFW last winter when a busload of people starting spilling out onto the sidewalk. Such the photojournalist, I had to investigate who the designer would be bussing in and recognized some of his Los Angeles staffers in the shot (below) and realized I’ve shot her before (unpublished). She was so cute whenever I spotted her around LA and I loved this blue denim shirt juxtaposed with that red skirt and the ostrich leather textured boots. You can glance more cute pieces by Marc here and I’ll be posting more bonus shots on instagram (I seem to have so many from before and after that show).
If you’re into the brand at all, you’ll also recognize the gent in front. {You can click the pic to Supersize the shot of Marc’s army}
