Chore directed by Justin Anderson – British lingerie brand Damaris shot this provocative video of a girl doing chores wearing a variety of their fancy intimates. Hang til the end and you will.not.be.sorry. The credits are also cheeky and you’ll see why (and sure I work in Hollywood, but I can not believe how many people it took to make this short!). This luxury lingerie line was created by Notting Hill bred Damaris Evans while she was a 25-year-old graduate of Central St Martins in London (Stella McCartney’s alma mater). Hold on to your knickers.
Streetstyle images are via Garance Dore, one of my favorite fashion bloggers I wrote about here. She originally launched her blog in 2006 as an illustrator frustrated with her commissions, then eventually started adding some photographs. She’s now a sought after photographer, especially by haute couture brands. She makes incredibly luxe videos of fashion shows and magazine shoots (like this one with Sean Lennon & his girl, the sultry Charlotte Kemp), but my favorite is this one as she’s laughing with fashion friends over a ri-dic-u-lous belt of armor. I also like this one that highlights “A Month in Fashion” with her beau, The Sartorialist blogger Scott Schuman. If you already know this video, you’ve just got to watch the shot-by-shot parody “A Monster Invasion” by Frenchman Lorenzo Papace. There’s now even rumor of a TV show with Garance and Scott. I can’t take it – yes, please!

Front Row Fashion – Garance Dore is a French fashion insider and her blog is something I look forward to reading daily and I’m not sure whether it’s her saturated photos or spunky illustrations I love the most. She started as an illustrator and was frustrated by her commissions which led to launching her blog as a creative outlet and portfolio of sorts. She eventually started taking some pretty amazing photos and is now well known in both fields. Front row at all the fashion shows, Garance recently added captivating videos. Sure, she does incredible compilations from all the shows, but it’s the little slices of life I love the most – which you could probably predict from my own stylespotting pov. Ironically, her boyfriend is fellow top blogger Scott Schuman, founder of The Sartorialist. Look for her ELLE UK issue on newsstands. I predict it’ll be a collector’s item.
