She was wearing an H&M shirt and shorts, a Louis Vuitton bag and Report Signature heels she bought at Kitson. Summer in LA wasn’t that brutal, but I’m really ready for Fall looks and layering.

A longshot – I spotted Katy in front of Kitson Men as we both started making early rounds up Robertson during Fashion’s Night Out. I appreciated the pop of color of this edgier Alexander Wang bag against her delicate Chanel dress.
I had asked, “What’s in a Wang?” in this video shot at Diavolina. That store has since closed and their wall was removed to expand MADISON. You’ll see the bigger, better MADISON up soon.

Colorful Carnival - Fashion’s Night Out started before 7:00 for me as I managed to hit Robertson Blvd while it was still light outside and was drawn to Alice + Olivia. The woman on stilts was a big attraction, especially for kids. I ducked inside for creamy cupcakes and games and fell for their blue color story for fall, plus some python print boots.

Victoria’s fun fall sweater paired with a tulle skirt. Because she can.

An Hermes cuff and YSL ring, it seems. I was loving the tulle detail of her skirt and you can see a carnival game behind her.

I have a rule that I don’t eat or drink while I’m shooting. The cupcakes had me rethinking my rule – and I tried two bite size pieces. They were phenomenal.

Jessica struck me with her moody blues and then I was briefly hypnotized by this sea of blue for fall.
Eek! I love these Paige leather python boots. {Click the pic to shop}

Ok, a lot more ground to cover at Madison with 291 from Venice, Kitson Kids with tiny tot models, Anya Hindmarch’s bag event and Fred Segal who never disappoints with all their colorful characters.

Dressed – This is the second of my desktop download images and the first is here. (You can click the pic to download). I took the photo recently at Les Pommettes on Robertson Blvd and am experiencing an unusual dress obsession as of late. The strange thing is, I don’t get dresses. I never have. I do, however, appreciate them on other people, admire them even. I own a handful of dresses, altered (a partial commitment), but they still hang solemnly in the back of my closet. I’m heading to an advance Fashion’s Night Out event at the Soho House tonight and really want to wear one, but I will probably end up in a faithful pair of black flair denim. I digress. I’ll definitely pick up a flowy summer dress because it’s still 97 degrees here, but I have a new favorite LBD for fall from All Saints [the figure-flattering Ellil jumper dress, seen after the jump]. All things considered, I might even commit to a dress for LA’s FNO on Thursday! Gasp. We shall see. [Click for my favorite fall LBD]

Rosario Dawson rocked the block last night when her G-Star x Kitson Studio event overtook Robertson Blvd with Women’s Night. The two brands collaborated on a six piece capsule collection, soon to be going going gone. I stopped by the party for a little LA StyleSpotting session on Kitson’s patio and found a few little visual treasures. I have to say that Rosario has the kindest eyes and warmest smile in person. [Above, Rosario is in the middle with violinist Caitlin Moe and DJ Mia Moretti. More pix after the jump.] As I tend to do, I’ve hidden some Easter eggs for you behind some of the photos.
Romi and Jay. (I was obsessed with The Real L Word star’s cache of jewelry). [CLICK for more party pix]

On Holiday in LA - I spotted Jade sporting summer blacks on Robertson Blvd, not long after the Aussie landed in LA on holiday, direct from a stint in Tokyo. She says her style tends to include a lot of black. I’m really curious what she does, but only know she used to study fashion design in Sydney. Her shirt is American Apparel and you can find her other outfit details below.

I still love the chunky gold watches and hers is Michael Kors (reasonable prices, btw) and she’s also wearing a really stellar Fendi enamel bracelet.

She’s carrying a YSL bag & wearing Tsubi shorts. (I love how the pockets hang out of her shorts.)

Finally, Jade’s traveling the globe in vintage ankle boots.

Trunk Show in Progress – I just checked out the Seneca Rising Trunk Show at Les Pommettes and loved all the differentiated patterns on their dresses and billowy blouses. Swing by if you’re on Robertson now through next Friday, (June 24) and you’ll find comfy, colorful pieces ranging from around $70-220. [See more styles after the jump].

The paparazzi went bananas yesterday as Paris pulled up on Robertson Blvd in front of Kitson & Kitson Men in that famous powder blue Bentley.
